About JSCQ

TVJ's Junior Schools' Challenge Quiz is one of the gems of local production. Ever since its first season in 2003 when Wolmer's Prep was crowned champions, the competition has become a staple on Jamaican television, as people from all walks of life across the country welcome these affable youngsters into our homes. The production team is thrilled to interact with the children and their teachers during every season and to provide Jamaica with a programme filled with education and entertainment.

The hundreds of primary, prep and all age schools which have participated over the last 14 years must be commended for their hard work, dedication and commitment in preparing to compete and TVJ continues to remain committed to the development of local content to enhance the variety of media consumption. The Junior Challenge Quiz is undoubtedly a crowd favourite in Jamaica and we look forward to a great 2016 season and beyond.
