Where can I get information if my favourite show gets pre-empted or simply goes off air?
TVJ tries to provide a range of regularly scheduled news, sports and entertainment programs to the public. We also broadcast specials, as well as breaking local and international news.
While we do our best to avoid pre-empting shows, our full programming schedule prevents us from guaranteeing if/when a program is re-aired. The best advice we can give you is to check your local listings and televisionjamaica.com whenever something unexpected pops up.

Why does TVJ change the time/day of shows?
Scheduling decisions are made after careful consideration and analysis. Our goal is to match the right program with the most receptive audience. Although we realize that not every decision will please everyone, we welcome comments from viewers because they help us understand how our programs are being received.

Why was my show cancelled?
Some of our favourite shows depart with a rousing series finale, others disappear without warning.
The challenge of a television station is to keep pace with constantly changing tastes of the viewing public. Should one of your favourite shows leave this world all too soon, we sure hope other programs on TVJ's schedule compensate with many hours of viewing pleasure.

What are TVJ's guidelines for unsolicited submissions of story ideas or concepts?
Unfortunately, TVJ and The RJR Communication Group’s policy does not allow the station to accept for review or consideration any ideas, suggestions, or creative materials not solicited by us or our subsidiaries. Our intention is to avoid misunderstandings when projects are created internally which might be similar to submissions made to us from outside the company.
